Plenty of Fish, or www.plentyoffish.com, is a free online dating service and a new large player in the online dating game thanks to its large user base and personality matching algorithms. The website has been featured in the New York Times, Seattle Times, The Guardian, and Time Magazine as a dating service.

In order to give Plenty of Fish a friendly and fun appeal, drawings of fish were used to illustrate the idiom "there's plenty of fish in the sea." The illustration was applied to create a magazine spread advertisement as well as a poster that could be put up at civic centers or in public places.

The text is friendly and speaks to the reader using rational and emotional appeals, using the illustration placement for extra emphasis on the headline.
