Typography Poster

This typography poster was made to be a handy and clean reference for anyone interested in graphic design.

Valiant

This self-identity developed from the meanings and origins of each part of my name, which has Greek, Latin, and German roots. The Greek root of the name inspired the use of Greek pottery, the Medusa, and the Hydra as muses for the logo.

Typography Book

Gregg Berryman's Notes On Graphic Design And Visual Communication is still considered one of the most informative graphic design reference books, despite last being revised in 1990; the overall feel of the book is very dated.

Armstrong

Armstrong World Industries, Inc. is a global leader in the design and manufacture of floors, ceilings and cabinets. Their current identity is very clean and corporate; this identity was created to show the warm, textured side of the company's products.

Tsicius

Tsicius is a complete redesign and reimagining of an ancient language called Luwian. The people who spoke Luwian were notable in their time for their skill with metalworking, specifically for creating fantastic jewelry, so metal became the inspiration for the new language.

Woot! Campaign

The campaign runs with woot.com's slogan, "One day. One deal." and includes advertising in multiple channels, including an online rollover ad and an iPhone application concept.

Free Rice

Free Rice is a not for profit website dedicated to helping humanity help themselves.

Plenty of Fish

In order to give Plenty of Fish a friendly and fun appeal, drawings of fish were used to illustrate the idiom "there's plenty of fish in the sea."
